The Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board’s Youth Committee announced on April 21 that it will host Pathways to the Future, a free in-person event for National Apprenticeship Week 2026 at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg on Thursday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The event aims to bring together businesses, union organizations, school programs, service providers, government agencies, and other groups as exhibitors. It is open to middle school students, high school and college-age youth, recent graduates, and other job seekers. Organizers said a light meal will be served.
“Apprenticeships are an avenue youth and all job seekers can use to build successful career pathways,” said Paul Grzella, GRWDB Director. “This event, one of hundreds happening around the country the week of April 26, aims to connect employers, trainers and job seekers to one another and to opportunity.”
There is no charge for businesses or attendees. Employers interested in exhibiting can register online or contact nbrown@somersetcountynj.gov or call 908-203-6047 by Monday, April 27. Community members may also register online or attend as walk-ins.
