The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy has announced an open position for a full-time, non-tenure-track teaching faculty member in Health Administration. The appointment is expected to begin in July 2026.
According to the announcement, applicants are required to have both academic and professional experience in health administration. Candidates should also show active involvement in curriculum design and course development, as well as a commitment to excellence in teaching and student advisement. In addition, engagement with healthcare administration through practitioner experience is necessary.
Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate, Master of Health Administration (M.H.A.), and Doctor of Health Administration (D.H.A.) courses across several areas including Healthcare Operations and Performance Improvement, Health Economics and Health Policy, Healthcare Leadership and Strategy, as well as Doctoral-Level Applied Scholarship.
Applicants holding a PhD, DrPH, DHA or a terminal degree in a related field are preferred. The school notes that candidates must also demonstrate a strong record of teaching excellence, experience advising or mentoring students, participation at the departmental level, and ongoing engagement with practice in the field.
