A new book titled “Today is the Day. Live It!” by Jodi Hope Grinwald brings together stories from 31 changemakers across different continents, including locations from California to Uganda. The book aims to demonstrate how individuals can make an impact by stepping outside their comfort zones.

Grinwald, a professional coach and founder of the “Today is the Day Changemakers” podcast and International Changemakers Forum, draws on her global experience to highlight people who have faced fear, uncertainty, adversity, and reinvention. She said Wednesday, “This book is proof that one decision can create ripples you may never fully see. What began as my own leap into coaching, podcasting, and global community-building has now woven voices from across continents into a collective story of courage, connection, and impact.”

She added: “This project proves that even in uncertain times, our stories can bring us together. ‘Today is the Day. Live It!’ is an invitation for every reader to trust that stepping beyond your comfort zone opens doors you never imagined.”

The book has received positive feedback from figures such as retired U.S. General Stanley McChrystal. He commented: “Sometimes we need to be reminded what’s truly important—and what’s possible. Noted podcaster, connection strategist, and certified professional coach Jodi Grinwald, herself an inspiration, has connected us to a group of ordinary people whose stories and insights are nothing short of extraordinary. We are in that group if only we give ourselves permission to join.”

“Today is the Day. Live It!” features contributors with diverse backgrounds and professions—ranging from public relations owners in New Jersey to nonprofit leaders in Uganda—who share a common belief that transformational change begins with the courage to start.

Among those featured are Amy Delman (Livingston, NJ), Ann Marie Baker (Brick, NJ), Catherine Curry Williams (Los Angeles & NYC), Cathy Hartenstein (Sedona), Mohan Metla (Brooklyn), Charlene Gorzela (Los Angeles), Chaya Pamula (Riverside), Clayton Platt (Newtown Square), Debra Rizzi (Wall), Deborah Baker (Charlotte), Deborah Koenigsberger (New York City), Fred C.
