Chrissy Buteas, CEO of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ), addressed attendees at the 2026 Synergistix Collaboration Conference in Florida, highlighting New Jersey’s role in the life sciences sector.
“If you want to see what it looks like when science, manufacturing, talent, and patients all come together at scale — look at New Jersey,” Buteas said. “The work happening in our state each day literally means life or death to patients around the globe.”
Buteas’s keynote presentation was titled “New Jersey: The ‘Medicine Chest of the World’ for 150 Years.” She focused on New Jersey’s longstanding position as a leader in medical innovation and its ongoing influence on global health.
The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that supports public health education and promotes biopharmaceutical advancements.
