Federal judges gathered on March 31 for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s annual NJICLE symposium at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

The event brought together members of the federal judiciary and legal practitioners to discuss the relationship between federal and state court procedures. The symposium provided practical guidance on various aspects of federal court practice, including brief writing, case presentation, and scheduling.

Attendees heard insights from veteran judges as well as experienced lawyers, aiming to enhance understanding of courtroom processes. The program is part of ongoing efforts by the association to foster collaboration and professional development within the legal community.

The annual gathering serves as a platform for sharing best practices and addressing procedural challenges faced by those working in both federal and state courts.

Looking ahead, organizers hope that continued dialogue at such events will strengthen cooperation between different branches of the judiciary.
