Jared Aisenberg, a 2023 graduate of the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, was recognized by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) at a recent ceremony that celebrated individuals advancing accessibility within public transportation.

Aisenberg has been employed at the MTA as an Associate Staff Analyst since completing his Master of City and Regional Planning degree. In his role as BMT & IND Service Forecaster, he contributes to efforts aimed at improving accessibility for transit users.

The award event highlighted innovators using technology, data intelligence, design, and information to support the MTA’s goals for accessible service. According to the MTA, these initiatives include developing mobile applications and other creative solutions designed to make transit more accessible for all customers.
