The Monmouth Ocean Development Council (MODC) is set to hold a 2025 Gubernatorial Election Breakfast on Friday, September 19. The event will take place at The Dome at Adventure Crossing, located at 515 Monmouth Road in Jackson, starting at 8:30 a.m.

Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli and state Senator Paul Sarlo (D-36), who will represent Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill in the race, are scheduled to participate. Tickets for the breakfast are priced at $50 for MODC members and $60 for nonmembers, which includes a full hot breakfast.

Those interested in attending can register through the MODC website.

Jack Ciattarelli is a former state assemblyman from Somerset County and is making his third bid for governor. He previously worked as a certified public accountant and was CEO of a medical publishing company he founded.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill has served New Jersey’s 11th District in Congress since 2019 and is running in the November 4 election to succeed Democratic Governor Phil Murphy, who cannot seek reelection due to constitutional term limits.

Sponsors for the event include Asbury Park Press, LocaliQ, TD Bank, Hutchinson, Marsh McLennan, and Adventure Crossing USA.
