New Jersey Chamber of Commerce elects seven new board members from various sectors

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has elected seven new members during its meeting on October 14. The newly appointed board members represent a range of industries and regions across the state.

The individuals joining the board are Thomas Angelo, Managing Principal & CEO at HBK CPAs & Consultants; John Gallucci Jr., President & CEO at JAG Physical Therapy; Sandra Gonzalez, General Counsel at Goya Foods, Inc.; Shannon Lazare, New Jersey Regional President at M&T Bank; Kim Vierheilig, President of National Buildings Group at STV, Inc.; Ralph Zucker, President & CEO at Inspired by Somerset Development; and Michael Zwick, Senior Vice President for Research at Rutgers University.

“There are many opportunities and challenges facing New Jersey – and these individuals will provide counsel and expertise as we work together to ensure the state reaches its full economic potential,” said Thomas Bracken, president & CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. “They will be joining a Board with an already impressive group of New Jersey business leaders.”

The board is responsible for advising chamber staff on policy issues that impact both short- and long-term economic growth in New Jersey. Key areas include economic development, education and workforce development, environment and energy matters, healthcare, state budget and fiscal issues, as well as transportation.
