The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement announced on Apr. 8 that casino licensees reported $784.6 million in net revenue for the fourth quarter of 2025, a 2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Gross operating profit for the quarter was $124.7 million, which is a decrease of 5.8 percent from the fourth quarter of 2024.
These results provide insight into the financial performance and trends within New Jersey’s casino industry, which plays an important role in the state’s economy and public revenues.
For calendar year 2025, net revenue reached $3.29 billion, representing a slight decline of 0.5 percent from the previous year. Gross operating profit for all casino licensees during this period was $681.6 million, down by 3.9 percent compared to calendar year 2024.
The Division noted that detailed information about how internet gaming and sports wagering are recognized in these figures is available in footnotes to its Quarterly Financial Report and should be considered when making comparisons between periods.
Hotel occupancy at casino hotels also declined slightly, with a rate of 64.9 percent for the fourth quarter ended December 31, down by 0.7 percentage points from one year earlier; annual occupancy for calendar year 2025 stood at 71.2 percent, down by 0.8 percentage points from calendar year 2024.
