The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released the gaming revenue results for August 2025. The figures show an increase in total gaming revenue across casinos, internet gaming, and sports wagering compared to the same period last year.
Casino win for Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels reached $311.9 million in August 2025, marking a 6.1% rise from $294 million in August 2024. Year-to-date casino win stood at $1.98 billion through August, which is a 2.8% increase over the previous year’s figures.
Internet gaming win also saw significant growth, with casinos and their partners generating $248.4 million in August 2025—up 25.2% from $198.4 million in August 2024. From January through August, internet gaming brought in $1.88 billion, a rise of 23.5% compared to $1.52 billion during the same period last year.
Sports wagering gross revenue totaled $81.9 million for the month, reflecting a 30.6% increase from $62.7 million reported in August of the previous year. However, year-to-date sports wagering gross revenue was slightly down by 1%, totaling $708.7 million compared to $715.8 million over the same span last year.
Overall, total gaming revenue—which includes casinos, racetracks, and their partners—was reported at $642.2 million for August 2025, representing a growth of 15.7% from $555.1 million one year earlier (https://www.njoag.gov/division-of-gaming-enforcement/financial-and-statistical-information/monthly-revenue-reports/).
