The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is set to hold a public hearing during its regular monthly meeting on June 11, 2025. The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Authority’s Board Room located at 36 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey, and can also be accessed via teleconference.

The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to express their views regarding the proposed issuance by the NJEDA of qualified 501(c)(3) bonds. These bonds are defined under section 145 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and may be issued in one or more series as part of a financing plan for a specific project.

The project in question involves land and facilities located at 101 Mettlers Road in Somerset County’s Township of Franklin. The property will be owned by Advanced Schools, Inc., a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, and leased to Central Jersey College Prep Charter School, a nonprofit corporation based in New Jersey.

The maximum aggregate face amount of bonds requested for this project is $32,500,000. This financial arrangement aims to support the educational activities conducted by Central Jersey College Prep Charter School.
