New Jersey reports growth in internet gaming and overall gambling revenue for September

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement released the total gaming revenue figures for September 2025. The report covers casino win, internet gaming, and sports wagering across casinos, racetracks, and their partners in the state.

Casino win for the nine casino hotels reached $230.7 million in September 2025, a slight increase of 0.1% compared to $230.6 million in September 2024. Year-to-date casino win was reported at $2.21 billion through September 2025, up by 2.5% from the same period last year.

Internet gaming win showed notable growth, with casinos and their partners reporting $243.1 million for September 2025, an increase of 16.8% over the $208.1 million recorded in September 2024. The year-to-date internet gaming win totaled $2.12 billion through September 2025, representing a rise of 22.7% compared to $1.73 billion for the previous year-to-date period.

Sports wagering gross revenue experienced a decline in September 2025, with casinos, racetracks, and their partners generating $89.8 million—a decrease of 24.9% from $119.6 million in September 2024. For the year-to-date period ending in September 2025, sports wagering gross revenue stood at $798.5 million, down by 4.4% compared to $835.4 million during the same period last year.

Total gaming revenue for all sectors combined was reported at $563.7 million for September 2025, reflecting a growth of 1% compared to $558.3 million reported for the same month in the previous year. Year-to-date total gaming revenue amounted to $5.13 billion through September 2025—an increase of 8.7% over last year’s figure of $4.72 billion for this period.

Gross revenue taxes collected were $80.3 million for September and reached a total of $611.8 million year-to-date through September 2025.
