May 28, 2025 – As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, New Jersey’s historical significance is being highlighted. Known as the “Crossroads of the Revolution,” New Jersey played a crucial role during the American Revolutionary War. Key events such as Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River to surprise British and Hessian troops in Trenton, followed by the Battle of Princeton and later the Battle of Monmouth, were pivotal in turning the tide in favor of American forces.
