The New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) has announced the upcoming retirements of two key executives and several promotions within its team. Chief Member Strategy Officer Betty Boros will retire at the end of June after ten years with the association. Chief Marketing and Technology Officer and New Jersey Business Magazine Publisher Vin Schweikert will leave in late August, concluding a 37-year tenure.

NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka commented on their departures, stating, “The contributions of both Vin Schweikert and Betty Boros to this organization cannot be understated.” She praised them as skilled executives who helped grow NJBIA and New Jersey Business Magazine in numerous ways.

In light of these changes, NJBIA announced several promotions. Lisa Criscuolo will become Senior Director of Sales and Publisher of New Jersey Business Magazine. Mike Sanchez is promoted to Senior Director of Marketing, Innovation, and Creative Strategy. Angeline Li will take on the role of Production and Digital Coordinator. The association also plans to hire a Chief Strategy Officer soon.

Siekerka expressed confidence in the newly promoted leaders: “We are truly blessed to have a deep roster of proven and talented NJBIA stars ready to take their personal next steps for the benefit of our organization.”

Additionally, Wayne Staub’s role expands as NJBIA’s Chief Member Experience Officer, while Joan Napolitano becomes Director of Strategic Membership Operations. Bob Considine’s title broadens to NJBIA Chief Communications and Media Officer.
