At the 2025 New Jersey Women Business Leaders Forum, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) recognized James Horne Jr., President and CEO of Junior Achievement of New Jersey, and Mike Renna, President and CEO of South Jersey Industries, for their leadership.

James Horne Jr. received the NJBIA Community Impact Award. The association cited his work in expanding Junior Achievement’s programs, building partnerships with businesses and schools, and preparing students for financial success.

Mike Renna was given NJBIA’s first Good Guy Award. He was honored for promoting diversity of thought within his leadership team and board at South Jersey Industries, as well as supporting the development of future leaders, especially women. Christina Renna, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, accepted the award on his behalf.

The 11th Annual Women Business Leaders Forum took place September 17-18 in Somerset. The event attracted over 500 participants who attended talks, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at supporting women’s advancement into executive roles since its inception in 2015.
