NJBIA Vice President of Government Affairs Althea D. Ford has outlined a plan to improve childcare in New Jersey as part of the organization’s Blueprint Minute video series. The series is designed to provide voters in the business community with information about key policy issues ahead of the state’s gubernatorial election.

The Blueprint Minute videos summarize each chapter of NJBIA’s “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey,” a 28-page document that offers guidance to candidates on promoting innovation and economic growth in the state.

According to NJBIA, the video series also encourages viewers from the business sector and other interested groups to examine how Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill and Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli address these policy topics. The organization provides online resources for comparing the positions of both gubernatorial candidates.

“To bring about more informed voting for the business community, NJBIA has released a short video series highlighting its Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey, a 28-page policy document that offers New Jersey’s gubernatorial candidates a roadmap to drive innovation and prosperity.”

“NJBIA’s Blueprint Minute video series provides a summary of each of the document’s content chapters, while inviting the state’s business community and other interested parties to view Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli’s positions and approaches to each respective issue.”

The NJBIA aims to inform voters by making it easier for them to compare where both major party candidates stand on important matters such as childcare.
