In a recent update, Michele Siekerka, President and CEO of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), introduced a guide aimed at improving employment and labor policy in New Jersey.

The NJBIA has launched a video series called Blueprint Minute to provide summaries of its “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey.” This 28-page document outlines recommendations intended to help the state’s gubernatorial candidates develop policies that encourage innovation and economic growth.

According to the NJBIA, the video series offers overviews of each chapter in the blueprint. It also encourages members of the business community and other interested parties to review and compare the positions of Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill and Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli on these key issues.

Websites have been made available for those wishing to compare both candidates’ policy stances.

“This effort is designed to bring about more informed voting for the business community,” said Siekerka.
