NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Christopher Emigholz has outlined strategies aimed at improving taxation and economic development in New Jersey. In a recently released video, Emigholz discusses the “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey,” a 28-page policy document designed to guide gubernatorial candidates on ways to encourage innovation and growth in the state.

The NJBIA Blueprint Minute video series summarizes each chapter of the policy document. It also encourages members of the business community and other stakeholders to review the positions of Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill and Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli on key issues facing New Jersey.

The organization has made available resources for voters to compare the policy approaches of both gubernatorial candidates.

Christopher Emigholz stated: “To bring about more informed voting for the business community, NJBIA has released a short video series highlighting its Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey, a 28-page policy document that offers New Jersey’s gubernatorial candidates a roadmap to drive innovation and prosperity.”

He added: “NJBIA’s Blueprint Minute video series provides a summary of each of the document’s content chapters, while inviting the state’s business community and other interested parties to view Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli’s positions and approaches to each respective issue.”
