NJBIA has launched a video series called “Blueprint Minute” aimed at informing the business community about energy policy in New Jersey. The series is part of the organization’s broader effort to provide guidance through its “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey,” a 28-page policy document that outlines recommendations for gubernatorial candidates.

Ray Cantor, NJBIA Deputy Chief Government Affairs Officer, appears in the series to offer insights on how state energy policy can be improved. According to NJBIA, the videos summarize each chapter of the Blueprint document and encourage viewers to examine the positions of gubernatorial candidates Mikie Sherrill and Jack Ciattarelli on key issues.

The initiative seeks to help voters make more informed decisions by presenting side-by-side comparisons of candidate policies. “NJBIA’s Blueprint Minute video series provides a summary of each of the document’s content chapters, while inviting the state’s business community and other interested parties to view Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli’s positions and approaches to each respective issue.”

The organization has also made available online resources for those who want to compare where both candidates stand on various policy topics related to business and innovation in New Jersey.
