In a recent update, Christopher Emigholz, Chief Government Affairs Officer at the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), outlined strategies for budget and cost-saving reforms in the state. The initiative is part of NJBIA’s ongoing efforts to inform the business community and the public about policy options ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial election.

NJBIA has launched a video series titled “Blueprint Minute,” which summarizes the main points of its “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey.” This 28-page policy document is designed to guide candidates running for governor on ways to enhance innovation and economic growth in New Jersey.

According to NJBIA, the video series aims to give an overview of each chapter in the policy document. It also encourages business owners and other stakeholders to review and compare the positions of Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill and Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli on various issues.

“The following websites are available to compare the policy positions of both gubernatorial candidates: Jack Ciattarelli, Mikie Sherrill,” Emigholz said.

The association hopes these resources will support more informed decision-making among voters, particularly those in the business sector.
