NJBIA to host discussion on healthcare policy impacts in New Jersey

NJBIA members are invited to attend an online Health Affairs Policy Committee meeting on October 21 to discuss the effects of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) and related federal policy changes on healthcare in New Jersey. The session will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Speakers at the meeting include Jonathan Chebra, Deputy Commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Human Services, who will present the department’s priorities and its response to OBBBA and other federal changes in healthcare and human services. Robin Ford, Vice President of Healthcare Reimbursement at the New Jersey Hospital Association, will share perspectives on how the legislation and federal initiatives are influencing the state’s hospital systems.

Libby Vinson, CEO of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers, will discuss the wider impact of OBBBA on community service providers and review key federal developments. Ward Sanders, President of the New Jersey Association of Health Plans, will address the implications of OBBBA and other federal policy decisions on the health insurance sector.
