In an effort to inform New Jersey’s business community ahead of the gubernatorial election, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) has released a new video as part of its Blueprint Minute series. The video, presented by NJBIA Chief Government Affairs Officer Christopher Emigholz, outlines strategies to address consumer affairs, legal, and insurance costs in the state.

The Blueprint Minute series summarizes chapters from NJBIA’s “Blueprint for a Competitive New Jersey,” a 28-page policy document. The blueprint is intended to provide gubernatorial candidates with recommendations to foster innovation and economic growth in New Jersey.

NJBIA is encouraging members of the business community and other interested parties to review the positions of the two major gubernatorial candidates, Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli, on these issues. The organization has made available online resources for comparing the candidates’ policy approaches.

“The NJBIA Blueprint Minute video series provides a summary of each of the document’s content chapters, while inviting the state’s business community and other interested parties to view Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli’s positions and approaches to each respective issue,” the association stated.
