NJEDA schedules September public hearing on private activity bond financing

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has announced it will hold a public hearing regarding an application for private activity bond financing. The hearing is scheduled for September 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and will take place both in person at the Authority’s Board Room, located at 36 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey, and via teleconference.

This session is being held in accordance with Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. During the hearing, participants will have the opportunity to comment on the proposed issuance of bonds as well as the location and nature of the project that would be financed by these bonds.

Members of the public who wish to participate can call in to the teleconference at 1-888-790-3708 using Conference ID: 7825427. Individuals may also submit written comments or speak during the hearing. Written comments must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day before the meeting to NJEDA’s address at 36 West State Street, Trenton.

The NJEDA website offers access to Google Translate for translation services; however, NJEDA notes that this does not imply endorsement or approval of Google Translate. The agency states that neither it nor the State of New Jersey reviews translated content and warns users that translations may not be accurate or current. “At the public hearing, any and all persons calling in will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed issuance of bonds and the location and nature of the Project to be financed thereby. Interested persons are also invited to submit written comments, speak at the public hearing, or both. Comments provided in writing must be provided no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day before the hearing the Authority’s meeting at the Authority’s address: 36 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey 08625.”
