The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has released a draft of proposed amendments to the Film and Digital Media Tax Credit Program rules and is inviting public feedback. The changes outlined in the draft reflect updates made by legislation signed into law on June 30, 2025.

According to the NJEDA, “The summary of proposed amendments includes changes made by P.L. 2025, c. 81, signed into law on June 30, 2025.”

The current draft of the amendments is available for review and may be revised before it is considered for approval by the NJEDA Board. If the Board approves the draft, the amendments will be published in the New Jersey Register, where the public can formally comment as required by the Administrative Procedure Act.

The NJEDA website also notes that it offers a link to Google Translate for users seeking translation services. However, the agency clarifies that this link does not indicate endorsement or approval of Google Translate, and it does not review the accuracy or content provided by the service. Users are advised that translated information may not be accurate or current and that the NJEDA may change or discontinue this service at any time.
