The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has released draft rules for the Next NJ Manufacturing Program and is asking for public feedback. The program, designed to support growth in the state’s manufacturing sector, follows the signing of A5687/S4407 by Governor Phil Murphy. This new law establishes a $500 million tax credit initiative aimed at benefiting manufacturing companies over the long term.
According to NJEDA, “The rules will be presented to the NJEDA Board for its review and consideration for approval. If approved, the rules will be published in the New Jersey Register for formal public comment as required by the Administrative Procedure Act before adoption.”
