The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is calling for public feedback on proposed amendments to the Historic Property Reinvestment Program Rules. This program aims to integrate historic preservation with community development, encouraging long-term private investment in New Jersey while safeguarding properties of historical significance.

According to the NJEDA, “A summary of the proposed changes can be found here. The final amendments will be presented to the NJEDA Board for its review and consideration for approval.” If these changes are approved, they will be published in the New Jersey Register for formal public comment as required by the Administrative Procedure Act before adoption.

Feedback from the public must be submitted through the NJEDA’s website by Monday, July 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
