Employers with opportunities in sustainability, environmental fields, and climate change are being invited to participate in the NJHEPS Green Jobs Fair. The event aims to connect New Jersey college students and alumni interested in these areas with potential employers.

The New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability (NJHEPS) is organizing the fair, which will be held on Tuesday, March 3, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Rutgers Douglass Student Center in New Brunswick. Students and graduates from colleges and universities throughout New Jersey are expected to attend.

Employers who wish to take part must register by February 16. In addition to recruiting at their booths, participating employers have the option to join a roundtable discussion led by the NJHEPS executive board about how artificial intelligence is affecting hiring practices. This discussion is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., prior to the start of the job fair.

Businesses seeking greater visibility at the event can explore sponsorship opportunities by contacting NJHEPS via email at contact@njheps.org.

The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA), based in Trenton, serves as the largest statewide employer organization in the country and represents businesses across sectors such as manufacturing, retail, services, and more. The association supports its members through advocacy efforts, resources, partnerships with educational institutions, and other benefits designed to promote business prosperity.
