The New Jersey State Bar Association announced on May 12 a new sponsorship partnership with FBT Gibbons LLP for the years 2026–2027. The collaboration aims to advance professional development and strengthen the legal community in New Jersey.

The partnership will see FBT Gibbons support several of the association’s flagship programs and events, which are designed to bring together attorneys and legal professionals for educational opportunities and networking. Events include the NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention, described as the state’s largest annual gathering of legal professionals, as well as the Federal Bench-Bar Conference, Women’s Leadership Conference, Diversity Summit, and Mid-Year Meeting in Lisbon, Portugal.

Norberto A. Garcia, President-Elect of NJSBA, said that FBT Gibbons has shown longstanding support for the bar through both leadership involvement and financial contributions. “FBT Gibbons’ valued support will strengthen the NJSBA’s mission to advocate for the profession, uphold the rule of law, deliver high-quality legal education and expand access to justice. Their backing will help our members and the broader bar better serve their clients and continue their professional growth. I look forward to the year ahead and what we will achieve together,” Garcia said.

Founded in 1899, NJSBA is described as New Jersey’s largest organization of attorneys, judges, and legal professionals. The association consists of 85 sections and committees that provide members with opportunities to build expertise within specialized practice areas while connecting with a broad network across the state.

The announcement highlights ongoing efforts by both organizations to enhance resources available to lawyers in New Jersey while supporting events focused on diversity, leadership development, federal practice issues, and international engagement.
