Norberto A. Garcia, president-elect of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), invited members on Apr. 13 to seek appointment to the association’s committees for the 2026-27 bar year.

The announcement encourages participation in NJSBA committees, which cover a range of practice areas and offer opportunities for professional growth and networking among legal professionals.

Garcia said that joining a committee allows members to expand their network and career by connecting with peers who share similar interests in various legal fields. The NJSBA offers dozens of committees designed to address specific areas within the law.

Members interested in serving on a committee are encouraged to submit their requests through the association’s designated process.

The invitation is part of ongoing efforts by NJSBA leadership to engage its membership and foster professional development within New Jersey’s legal community.
