The New Jersey State Bar Association announced on April 15 that its members will receive complimentary access to Smokeball Bill, a trust accounting and billing software designed for law firms.

This initiative aims to provide legal professionals with tools that help manage client funds and streamline payment processes as part of their bar membership.

According to the announcement, Smokeball Bill is intended to make managing client accounts and receiving payments easier for attorneys. The software is described as a tool built specifically for law firms’ needs in handling trust accounting and billing tasks.

Members are encouraged to activate their free subscription through the partnership between the association and Smokeball. The benefit comes at no additional cost beyond existing membership dues.

This move reflects ongoing efforts by professional organizations like the New Jersey State Bar Association to support their members with technology solutions tailored for legal practice management.
