PATH train service between Harrison and Journal Square stations will be suspended during select weekends in September, October, and November to allow for essential track construction and repairs. The suspensions are scheduled from 11:59 p.m. Fridays to 5 a.m. Mondays on the weekends of September 13-14, September 20-21, October 4-5, and October 25-26. On the weekends of October 11-12 and November 1-2, service will be suspended from 2:30 a.m. Saturdays until 5 a.m. Mondays.

During these periods, free wheelchair-accessible shuttle buses will operate between Harrison and Journal Square (JSQ), as well as between Newark-Penn Station and JSQ. The buses will run every 7 to 12 minutes except during early morning hours from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m., when they will run every 15 to 20 minutes.

Riders can find shuttle bus locations by following signage at affected stations. Customer service agents and Port Authority police officers will be available to assist travelers.

For Harrison customers, shuttle buses will generally depart from Guyon Drive near Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard during the six designated weekends. However, on Sunday of this weekend’s men’s lacrosse event at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, buses will instead pick up on Essex Street from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

PATH service will continue operating between Newark-Penn Station and Harrison, along the JSQ-WTC line, and the JSQ-33 St via Hoboken line during these outages. Weekday PATH service is not impacted by this construction schedule.
