Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) will host two information sessions in February and March for adults aged 25 and older who are considering starting college, returning to complete a degree, exploring new career paths, seeking professional development, or improving their English skills.
The Adult Learning Information Sessions are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18 and Wednesday, March 18 at the Atrium on RVCC’s Branchburg campus at 118 Lamington Road. Registration for either session can be completed at raritanval.edu/visit.
During these events, attendees will receive details about academic and certificate programs, the application process for RVCC, learning options and support services designed for non-traditional students, as well as guidance on paying for college and accessing financial aid resources.
Veterans are encouraged to attend to learn how they can use their education benefits at RVCC. The manager of International and Veteran Services will be present to answer questions from prospective students.
To accommodate students balancing work, family, and other commitments, RVCC offers semester lengths of 14 weeks (full-term), 12 weeks, 10 weeks, and seven weeks for some programs. This flexibility aims to provide learners with more convenient academic schedules. Adult students may enroll in career training, certificate programs, or pursue degrees at RVCC.
