The Somerset County Business Partnership is organizing a nonprofit roundtable event on October 14. The session will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature Colleen Duerr, President of Shifting Gears Consulting, as the guest presenter.
Duerr is expected to discuss the lifecycles of nonprofit organizations. Her firm, Shifting Gears Consulting, specializes in grant processes, training, communications, writing, process improvement, and strategic planning for nonprofits.
The roundtable aims to help participants understand the concept of nonprofit lifecycles and assess their own organizations using related tools. Attendees will also learn how to identify areas where they can build capacity and explore strategies for building on existing successes. Additional objectives include integrating these insights into leadership plans, board discussions, and overall organizational strategy.
