On the recent episode of “Minding Your Business” on News 12+, Bob Considine interviewed Joe Chiarello, the founder of XCamp in Seaside Heights. The segment was part of the program’s Shore Summer Series and highlighted XCamp’s nearly 30-year history of providing surf instruction and access.

“I still put my head down on my pillow at night, excited about the next day. How are the conditions gonna be? Are there gonna be fish if there aren’t waves? What am I gonna get to do?” Chiarello said.

“And that’s what we’re trying to kind of get that point across of make it a lifestyle, make it another alternative, fun, healthy activity that you might be doing when you’re 50 with your kids.”

“Minding Your Business,” produced by NJBIA, is a weekly television show that has won seven Telly Awards over the past three years. This includes a gold award in 2024 for Interview & Talk Show.
