HEI Mercer Spring recently acquired Mercer Spring, a vehicle spring and suspension repair facility in Hamilton Township. The acquisition was announced by Keith Smith and Brian Radwell, co-owners of the new enterprise.
Smith brings over 40 years of experience as the owner-operator of Hainesport Enterprises Inc., a truck and auto repair company that has expanded from nine to over 90 employees. Located on Route 38 in Hainesport, Hainesport Enterprises Inc. features more than 40 service bays.
“We will quickly add our expertise to that of the HEI Mercer Spring team,” Smith stated. “The new operation will be a full-service truck repair shop, from tires to paint. HEI Mercer Spring’s expertise is undercarriage (suspension) repair, and we bring transmission, engine, hydraulics, brake, body, paint, and more. Come see the newly remodeled parts department and now, when you need the part, we will deliver it.”
Radwell has over 40 years of business experience and has grown Radwell International from four employees into a global company employing thousands.
“We are thrilled to enhance the service offerings of HEI Mercer Spring, showing current and new customers the superior service Keith has built his reputation on,” Radwell commented.
Significant investments have already been made in upgrading the grounds and buildings. Smith has initiated the installation of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of new equipment with further investments planned. The recruitment of additional staff and introduction of new services underscore a commitment to future growth and development.
The facade has been refinished and new signage will be installed soon at HEI Mercer Spring.
