New Jersey Chamber applauds delay of NYC congestion pricing plan

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce has expressed approval for the decision to indefinitely postpone New York City's congestion pricing plan. According to the Chamber, residents and businesses in New Jersey would have been significantly impacted by the additional costs associated with the plan, especially during a period of rising expenses.

"We remain steadfast in our opposition because it is bad for the state’s economy, especially for those that rely on regularly conducting business in New York City," stated Tom Bracken, President & CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. The organization hopes that this postponement will become permanent.
