ACI Medical & Dental School will graduate the largest class in its 19-year history at its 2024 commencement ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre.
Responding to the current critical shortage of healthcare workers, ACI Medical & Dental School Founder and President Frank Preston identified the need for short-term quality education in the medical and dental fields and created a fast-track program.
“ACI M&D offers students an opportunity to begin a lucrative, rewarding career in just a few months,” Preston said. “With our dedicated staff and state-of-the-art equipment and training, we are committed to providing students with the ethical and professional standards for the workplace, as well as the tools and confidence to pursue their goals.”
Preston highlighted that ACI M&D has a 97% pass rate on national credential exams and a 91% employment rate. In its first 18 years, the school has trained and graduated over 4,000 healthcare professionals.
By offering day and evening classes, financial aid, career development strategies, and readiness training, ACI Medical & Dental School aims to meet today’s workforce demands. Additionally, students who complete the program receive continual career assistance as needed.
Healthcare jobs are in high demand with an expected job growth rate of 15.4% by 2032 according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. “There has never been a better time to seek a career in healthcare,” Preston said.
More than 700 graduates, family members, and friends are expected at this year’s graduation ceremony. Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico Jr., an RN and advocate for healthcare workers, will be the commencement speaker. Talerico will share insights from his own career path that transitioned from Wall Street to nursing school and local politics.
