CCGNJ addresses rising problem gambling issues in New Jersey

On the past weekend’s episode of "Minding Your Business" on News 12+, Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCGNJ) Executive Director Felicia Grondin joined host Bob Considine to discuss the increase in addictive gambling in New Jersey, a trend that has emerged with the onset of legalized online betting.

The CCGNJ, which has been in existence for more than 40 years, aims to heighten awareness of problem gambling in New Jersey. The organization provides numerous resources for individuals struggling with addiction and their families. More information can be found at their website www.800gambler.org.

On September 20, CCGNJ will hold its annual conference, entitled "Betting on Change: Confronting the Surge in Problem Gambling," at the New Jersey Hospital Association.

NJBIA’s "Minding Your Business" is a weekly TV show and the winner of seven Telly Awards over the past three years, including a gold 2024 Telly in the Interview & Talk Show category. It airs on News 12+ at 9:30 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday, as well as 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
