NJ Transit offers rail services for concerts and college football games at MetLife Stadium

NJ TRANSIT will offer rail service to MetLife Stadium for upcoming events, including concerts by PINK and Travis Scott, as well as the Navy vs. Notre Dame college football game on October 26. Fans can use NJ TRANSIT’s BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line for convenient access.

Customers can take any NJ TRANSIT train stopping at Secaucus Junction and transfer to the BetMGM Meadowlands Rail Line to reach the stadium. Complete schedules are available at njtransit.com/MetLifeStadium closer to event dates.

For those traveling from Penn Station New York, there is no direct train service to MetLife Stadium. Passengers must transfer at Secaucus Junction. Departure boards at Penn Station will display "SEC" for trains stopping at Secaucus.

Trains between Secaucus Junction and MetLife Stadium will operate based on event start times. During peak periods before an event, trains run approximately every 10-20 minutes. Customers should check specific event schedules for final departure times from Secaucus.

Limited direct train service from Hoboken to MetLife Stadium is available for select weekend NFL games and college football games. For other events, passengers can take various lines to Secaucus and transfer to Meadowlands-bound trains.

Passengers should purchase roundtrip tickets in advance from their originating station to avoid delays and a $5 surcharge per ticket if bought on the train.

After events, trains will run from MetLife Stadium back to Secaucus Junction with frequent service until crowds disperse. Limited direct service is available from MetLife Stadium to Hoboken after events; otherwise, transfers are required at Secaucus.

NJ TRANSIT advises customers to plan ahead and check rail schedules for connections after events using the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App, which provides real-time departures and schedule information. Mobile tickets include a barcode for fare gate access in Secaucus.

Important travel tips include checking final connection times in advance of events and understanding that wait times depend on where passengers are in line after an event ends.
