Manasquan Bank raises over $12K for charities during ‘Days of Giving’ campaign

Manasquan Bank has announced that its 2024 Days of Giving campaign raised $12,228.70 for ten charities in Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties. This year's campaign exceeded previous records.

In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Manasquan Bank’s Charitable Foundation supported ten nonprofit organizations. The beneficiaries were Kindness Cafe on Main, Next Steps Adult Day Program, Sandy Hook Foundation, Shore Saves, Chef Lou’s Army, Sea Change Recovery Community Organization, The Arc (Ocean County Chapter), Akhil Autism Foundation, Metuchen Education Foundation, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The fundraiser took place from September 9 to September 13. Patrons visited Manasquan Bank branches to participate in a coin exchange initiative. The bank matched up to 15% of each transaction total while participants kept their entire redemption amount. Participants also had the option to donate part or all of their counted coins or make separate monetary contributions.

“As we celebrate 150 years of serving our communities, we are extraordinarily proud of the success of this year’s Days of Giving,” said James S. Vaccaro, chair, president, and CEO of Manasquan Bank. “The generosity and support of our clients and the community have allowed us to make a significant impact on these 10 remarkable organizations.”

The Days of Giving initiative began in 2021 and aims to foster community engagement and charitable contributions. This year's event was significant as it marked a milestone in the bank's history.

Following the weeklong fundraiser was the bank's 150th-anniversary Community Day event on September 14 in downtown Manasquan. The event featured free food, games, crafts, and entertainment provided by the bank.

Manasquan Bank is headquartered in Wall Township with consolidated assets of $3 billion and operates fifteen branch locations throughout Middlesex, Monmouth & Ocean counties. Founded in 1874 and a member of NJBIA for many years, Manasquan Bank continues to offer both traditional and digital banking solutions while supporting community-focused nonprofit initiatives through its Charitable Foundation.
