The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is set to host a panel discussion focusing on alternative funding opportunities for life sciences companies in New Jersey. The event aims to provide insights from industry leaders on securing funds from non-traditional sources, funding the next generation of drugs, diagnostics, and devices, and supporting early-stage commercial biomedical research.
The panel will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the New Jersey Bioscience Center located at 675 U.S. Highway 1 in North Brunswick, N.J.
Notable speakers include Josh Barer, Managing Director at Hibiscus BioVentures; Kathleen Coviello, Chief Economic Transformation Officer at NJEDA; Rik Mehta, Cofounder and CEO of Lactiga US, Inc.; John Pennett, Partner in the Life Sciences and Technology Group at Eisner Advisory Group LLC; Jorge Ramirez, Vice President of M&A and Business Development at Quest Diagnostics; and Judith Sheft, Executive Director of the New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology.
