BlackHawk Data, a certified woman-owned IT solutions provider, has been recognized as a 2024 Triple Crown Award winner by CRN. This award acknowledges the company's rapid growth in the technology sector, technical expertise, and exceptional performance in IT innovation. It is the second consecutive year that BlackHawk Data has received this honor from CRN, a brand of The Channel Company.
The company achieved significant rankings on three of CRN’s prestigious lists: No. 16 on the Fast Growth 150; No. 309 on the Solution Provider 500; and its co-founder & chief technology officer, Jason Caparoso, was named to the Tech Elite 250 list. The Triple Crown Award is given to solution providers who earn a place on all three lists within the same year.
Maryann Pagano, co-founder & CEO of BlackHawk Data, commented on the achievement: “Winning the CRN Triple Crown for the second year in a row is a reflection of our team’s relentless dedication to delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.” She emphasized their commitment to innovation and service during industry disruptions.
Caparoso also expressed his thoughts: “Securing the Triple Crown Award again underscores the technical expertise and determination of our team.” He highlighted their efforts in fostering diversity and inclusion in the industry.
As a woman-owned business, BlackHawk Data focuses on promoting diversity and inclusion under Pagano's leadership through initiatives like the Women in Tech Roundtable series. This quarterly event series aims to empower and mentor women in IT by bringing together female leaders to share experiences and strategies for success.
“Diversity and inclusion are core values at BlackHawk Data,” added Pagano. The roundtables aim to create opportunities for women and underrepresented groups in technology.
Looking forward, BlackHawk Data plans to expand its offerings in cybersecurity, private LTE/5G, and managed services. Caparoso stated: “As technology leaders, our mission is not just to innovate but to create solutions that safeguard...our communities—our schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.”
This year's 47 Triple Crown Award winners are featured in CRN's October 2024 issue.
