The New Jersey District Export Council is inviting nominations for the 2025 International Trade Awards. These awards aim to recognize businesses that have made significant strides in expanding their exports through growth in existing markets, entry into new markets, and the adoption of innovative growth strategies.
Nominations are open until February 21, 2025, and can be submitted online. The winners will be announced at the 2025 New Jersey International Trade Awards ceremony on May 13, 2025. All awardees must attend the ceremony and participate in a panel discussion.
There are four categories in which New Jersey businesses can be acknowledged:
- Exporter of the Year: This award is given to a company that has increased its exports significantly and has made exporting a key part of its business.
- Service Exporter of the Year: This category recognizes a company that excels in exporting services.
- New Exporter of the Year: This award is for a company that started exporting products or services within the last two years.
- Minority/Diverse Exporter of the Year: This recognition goes to a company with successful export activities whose owners or senior leaders come from underserved business communities such as African American/Black, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native American, Veteran and Service-Disabled, Woman, or LGBTQI+.
Businesses may nominate themselves or other eligible companies headquartered in New Jersey. Nominations can be submitted for more than one category; however, each business can only win in one category.
Companies nominated last year but did not win are encouraged to apply again. For further inquiries about the awards program, contact Lauren.Platz@trade.gov.
