NJCA supports Sue Altman's campaign; calls for bipartisanship from Tom Kean Jr

Statewide advocacy group New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA) has expressed support for Sue Altman's recent campaign in New Jersey's 7th Congressional District. Despite Altman not securing a victory against the Republican incumbent Congressman Tom Kean Jr., her campaign was acknowledged for addressing issues important to many residents of New Jersey and enhancing the state's grassroots democracy movement.

Dena Mottola Jaborska, NJCA Executive Director, stated, "We applaud Sue Altman for championing a care economy, reproductive and women’s rights, the environment, and the fight against corruption and incompetence at every level in government and politics in her superb campaign." She emphasized that Altman's approach demonstrated effective constituent engagement. The organization plans to continue mobilizing New Jerseyans to reinforce democracy and advocate for an inclusive state benefiting all citizens.

Additionally, NJCA called on Congressman Tom Kean Jr. to reconsider his party's policies. "We urge Tom Kean Jr. to disavow the extreme right-wing policies of his party, reach across the aisle, and work with us and his constituents to build a better New Jersey," said Mottola Jaborska.
