NJ Citizen Action congratulates elected officials on 2024 election wins

New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA) has extended its congratulations to U.S. Senator-elect Andy Kim and several congressional candidates following their victories in the 2024 general election. The organization acknowledged U.S. Representatives Donald Norcross, Josh Gottheimer, Frank Pallone, Robert Menendez Jr., LaMonica McIver, Mikie Sherrill, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Representatives-elect Herb Conaway and Nellie Pou for their success.

NJCA's Political Action Committee endorsed these candidates due to their dedication to advancing policies aimed at racial, social, and economic justice. NJCA Executive Director Dena Mottola Jaborska stated that New Jersey voters chose candidates who support working families, people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, and vulnerable populations. She remarked on the rejection of "MAGA forces" that she claims seek division through hate and bigotry.

“These lawmakers will help unify our country and work towards an America where everyone has the chance to thrive and prosper," said Mottola Jaborska. She expressed anticipation for collaboration on issues such as affordable healthcare, housing, reinvestment in underserved communities, and other initiatives beneficial to New Jersey residents.

Additionally, Mottola Jaborska commended Sue Altman and Andy Kim for their roles in promoting grassroots democracy in New Jersey. She praised Altman's efforts against corruption and highlighted Kim's integrity as a Congressman. “Both have consistently prioritized the interests of the average New Jerseyan over big corporations,” she added.
