The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has announced plans to gather public input on the regulations for its new Cultural and Arts Facilities Expansion (CAFÉ) tax credit program. The program is designed to enhance arts and culture across New Jersey by increasing the number of high-quality art and cultural experiences available to both residents and visitors. Up to $75 million in tax credits will be awarded to capital projects that meet a minimum threshold of $5 million.
To facilitate this initiative, NJEDA will host a virtual listening session at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. This session aims to collect feedback from the public regarding the rules of the CAFÉ program.
According to NJEDA's announcement, "The CAFÉ program will award up to $75 million in tax credits to capital projects of at least $5 million."
Additional information about this event can be found through NJEDA's website, which also provides access to Google™ Translate services. However, NJEDA clarified that neither it nor the State of New Jersey reviews or endorses Google™ Translate services.
