NJ TRANSIT's "Music in Motion" concert series will feature a special holiday performance by the New Jersey Symphony. The event, which is free to the public, will take place at Newark Penn Station on December 10, 2024, from 4:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players are set to perform holiday classics in the station's waiting room during evening rush hour. This marks another installment of the "Music in Motion" series, which began as part of NJ TRANSIT’s 25th Anniversary celebration in 2004 but was paused during the pandemic.
The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players previously resumed the series with a performance at Hoboken Terminal on September 26, 2024.
For those interested in future performances, more information can be found on the Music in Motion website: www.facebook.com/NJTRANSITMIM. Additional details about the New Jersey Symphony are available at https://www.njsymphony.org/.
