Today, Governor Murphy enacted several legislative measures. The bills signed into law include:
A3853/S2988, sponsored by Conaway, McCoy, Speight in the Assembly and Gopal, Pou in the Senate. This bill extends certain pay parity regarding telemedicine and telehealth until July 1, 2026.
Another measure is A5151/S3957, with Atkins, Carter, McCann Stamato as sponsors in the Assembly and Sarlo, Scutari, Bucco in the Senate. This legislation allows public bodies to continue using newspapers for required public notices and legal advertisements until a specified date regardless of format.
Lastly, A5152/S3965 was signed into law. Sponsored by Schaer, Haider, Park, Karabinchak, Greenwald in the Assembly and Scutari, Beach, Singer in the Senate. This bill reschedules the June 2025 primary election date and provides for adjustments of certain election-related deadlines.
