New Jersey colleges earn spots on best online MBA programs list

Nine colleges in New Jersey have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for their online MBA programs in the 2025 rankings. The institutions listed include Stevens Institute of Technology, Rowan University, Rutgers University-Camden, Montclair State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rider University, Berkeley College, Caldwell University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Additionally, five New Jersey colleges received recognition for their online bachelor's programs. These are Rutgers-Camden, Rowan University, Kean University, Berkeley College, and Rider University.

The magazine's evaluation criteria included student engagement, faculty credentials, services and technologies. Programs that excelled in these areas also had strong academic foundations characterized by student-instructor access and high graduation rates.

LaMont Jones from U.S. News emphasized the importance of providing accurate information about online programs to help prospective students make informed decisions. “By evaluating factors such as student engagement and program quality," Jones noted, "Best Online Programs rankings can help students identify which schools offer an exceptional online learning experience.”

Berkeley College has consistently ranked among the best for its online bachelor's degree programs for 12 years running. Diane Recinos from Berkeley highlighted this achievement and expressed pride in the recognition received from U.S. News & World Report: “Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report again is an honor that reflects the hard work of our faculty and staff and the dedication of our students.”
