Business owners are invited to participate in a free online seminar focusing on export assistance and business development, hosted by the U.S. Commercial Service and the New Jersey District Export Council. The event, titled “Export Assistance & Business Development: Focusing on NJ’s Underserved Business Community,” is scheduled for Thursday, February 13, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The seminar will feature several speakers from various organizations who will discuss state and federal programs designed to aid business growth through exports. Among the speakers are Susan Widmer from the U.S. Department of Commerce, who will represent the U.S. Commercial Service export programs and the New Jersey District Export Council; Kelly Brozyna from Small Business Development Centers discussing SBDC business development programs; William Spear representing the State of New Jersey's Business Action Center and STEP Grant; Regina Gordin from the Export Import Bank of the U.S., who will talk about ExIm Bank export financing programs; Abby Martinez from the Small Business Administration discussing SBA export financing programs; Victoria Hosendorf from Minority Business Development Center at The Enterprise Center talking about business development programs; and Michelle Osorio from NJ Economic Development Authority covering grant and loan programs.
